Fall Porch: A Roadside Rescue
Fall has finally fully landed at this house.
As I've mentioned before, the free section of Craigslist is one of the more exciting spots for me to regularly scour. It's amazing what you can find, for free, that you never knew you needed!
Check this guy out...a little before shot:
I wasn't sure what to do with it. But it looked promising.
So after a little priming, a coat of white paint for the exterior and some chalkboard paint where a mirror formerly existed, I stumbled upon the centerpiece for my new fall porch.
I think my eventual plan will be to hang it as our seasonal welcome board on the house, but I need a man for that job. And he's not usually around during nap time. :)
I just love it! Not too shabby for free-99!
Accompanied with my new fall wreath I whipped up the other day.
It officially feels like spiced cider and sweaters are welcome in this home.
